Ken Madden - President
Ken brings the vision for the company after 30 years in the custom home building and commercial development business. During the time he has received recognition of Master Builder as he received 45 national awards ranking him in the top one half of one percent of the nation’s home custom home builders. His home building experience began in Durango, CO. In 1987, he began Shiloh Custom Homes in Scottsdale, Arizona. His home experience became one of the most sought after in the Scottsdale area, creating homes of exceptional beauty and harmony, with homes exceeding 22,000 square feet.
His leadership and vision is the foundation for Shiloh Development, currently developing communities and properties in Montana and Arizona. The developments include multifamily, condominiums, single family, retail and commercial real estate. The commercial projects span office condiminiums, office warehouse, storage and warehouse and hotel projects. Ken is also founder of Shiloh Foundation which includes the mentoring of men, women and teenagers hrough faith-based character building curriculum, and the teaching of life skills to the fatherless and the support and education of orphans.
Scott Farnam - Vice President
Scott brings to Shiloh a strong, successful and diverse entrepreneurial background that spans thirty-five years. He began his business career during college years by starting a residential remodeling company which quickly grew into building luxury custom homes in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, AZ. His business expanded to Durango, CO where he continued to build custom luxury homes. It was during his Durango years that Scott began a lasting friendship with Ken Madden. Scott returned to Phoenix to spend several years during the mid 1980's with Phoenix Pacific Properties, the commercial development division of Knoell Homes. There he gained extensive experience with projects including neighborhood and community shopping centers, master planned communities, hotel, plus class A office projects.
In 1989 Scott formed a commercial construction and development company which he successfully ran until joining Shiloh Development. His commercial projects included large high tech data centers, medical call centers, office and medical buildings, retail projects, restaurants, and even hotel renovations.Scott's vast experience has made him a key member of the Shiloh team since joining as vice president in 2002. He is involved with every facet of the business from doing the detailed financial analysis before a property is acquired to managing construction when property is ultimately developed.
Franklin Santagate - Director of Marketing
Franklin Santagate is an innovative, sales and marketing executive with a successful background in selling, creating, managing and implementing real estate account strategies that work. He brings 35 years of experience to the Shiloh team. Franklin is recognized as a hands-on, pro-active marketing and advertising strategist who can rapidly identify business opportunities, formulate strategic plans, initiate change and implement new campaigns in challenging and diverse environments.
His key areas of effectiveness include total development strategic planning, market research, development identity positioning, and advertising and sales campaigns implementation. His peers have recognized his work in the areas of commercial office, shopping center, single home and apartment community marketing from Georgia to Montana.
His professional experience spans for key areas of Real Estate, Health Care and Financial Investment with Fortune 500 companies such as Mercedes Benz, Renault, General Electric, International Telephone and Telegraph (ITT), Paragon Group Apartment Communities, NTS Properties, Shiloh Custom Homes, David Hocker Shopping Centers, International Harvester- Navistar, Cummins Diesel, United Airlines, Aetna, Bankers Trust of New York, Humana, Sun Bank, Continental Bank, and Bank One.
